The Stray Cats Hot Rod Association is committed to making a difference in our community. In 2007, as a result of our club activities such as our fall Rod & Custom Show in Littleton, we were able to donate almost $2000.00 to a young Child in our community fighting for her life. The SCHRA wish to send out a big THANK YOU to the different clubs, and individuals who issued challanges to everyone there to meet and excede in their giving for this special child. With them our efforts would not be as great a success. In addition, we also donated $750 to the Pilot Club this past holiday season to be used to bring Christmas to some of our area children. As well as many others still to be announced! The Stray Cats are honored to be able to help our community!
The Stray Cats Hot Rod Association also sponsors a scholarship at Halifax Community College in Weldon, N.C. The scholarship is awarded to a student in good standing in the automotive certificate program on a needs basis. The scholarship is in the amount of $750 which represents approximately half of the costs of the program. Perspective applicants should contact the Halifax Community College financial aid office at (252)536-7223 directly for information on how to apply for this scholarship.

Come be a part of our 14th Annual Stray Cats HRA Custom Rod & Custom Show in Littleton NC Saturday August 30th 2008. This is a pre 1978 Show open to trucks, street rods, customs, motorcycles, and classics manufactured before 1978. Door Prizes till they run out, dash plaques and goodie bags for the first 150 entries. The town of Littleton will be having their Harvest Festival as well so there will be plenty for the whole family to do!
